During his development tour of Angata Barrikoi ward, Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu commissioned the following projects:
- A modern computer laboratory at Ng’endalel Secondary School
- Three ECDE classrooms at Kapsinendet, Koibeyot and Kimugul primary schools, respectively. The three ECDE classrooms, with a joint capacity to accommodate 120 learners, have been fully equipped with ECDE compliant furniture and will go along way in ensuring close proximity to early learning centers for the pre-primary learners of Angata ward.
- A new building at Angata health center. The newly constructed building at Angata health Center has expanded the capacity of the facility to offer Outpatient, Pharmacy, Antenatal, Child Welfare, Laboratory, Nutrition and Consultation services for the residents of Angata.
- Two boreholes — in Angata town and at Angata health center. The two boreholes at will go along way in resolving the long standing issue of water shortage that has for a long time been synonymous with Angata Barikkoi ward.
- Two ECDE classrooms at Tebengwet and Cheptarei villages. Tebengwet ECDE Centre is located between Kiletien and Ole Soilal Primary Schools while Cheptarei ECDE Centre is situated between Ng’endalel and Oldonyo Orok Primary Schools making them more accessible to learners within the two villages and eliminates the need for the young learners to travel to neighbouring primary schools.
- Oldonyo Orok Water Project at Oldonyo Orok centre. The water project comprises a fully functional borehole and a community water kiosk.
Other ongoing projects in Angata Barrikoi Ward include:
- The construction of two dormitories at Kondamet Mixed Day Secondary School.
- The construction of the 6-kilometer Kondamet–Oldonyo Orok Road. A total of 33 kilometers of road will be opened, upgraded, and murramed as part of the ongoing countywide infrastructure overhaul program.
Ongata Barrikoi Girls’ School and Our Lady of Fatima Oldonyo Orok Secondary School received new school buses during the development tour of Angata Barrikoi Ward.
