Commissioning of Mosiro Ward Development Projects

Two new classrooms at Enoorpopong Primary School, a new dormitory at Koitiko primary school, a new maternity wing at Ilkiremisho Dispensary and a new state-of-the-art Oltepesi Dispensary, have been officially opened for operations by H.E. Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu in Mosiro Ward, Narok East Sub county.

The two new classrooms at Enoorpopong Primary are a significant boost to the infrastructure of the school that initially had only three permanent classrooms  accommodating about 600 students — a situation that had forced majority of the students to study in Mabati classrooms donated by parents.

” While we are committed to phasing out the 13 temporary Mabati classrooms, we recognize additional challenges faced by the school, including the need for adequate water supply and a science laboratory for the Junior Secondary School. In the interim, I have facilitated the acquisition of a mobile laboratory to support students in their practical studies, ” Noted  Governor Ntutu.

The new dormitory at Koitiko Primary school will accommodate at least 100 students and will go along way in alleviating accommodation challenges  at the school.

The  new maternity wing at Ilkiremisho Dispensary will serve the residents of Ilkiremisho and the surrounding communities. Governor Ntutu also inaugurated the new Oltepesi Dispensary at Oltepesi Olaimutiai. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with antenatal, gynaecology, laboratory, minor theatre, and dressing room units, ready to deliver essential medical services to the residents of Olaimutia, Olosho Lolepunyua, Kikuyian, and nearby areas.

” Our commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure remains steadfast. We are dedicated to constructing new facilities and upgrading existing ones to ensure that all county residents have access to quality healthcare. The upgrading of Nairegia Enkare to a level four hospital is progressing as planned, poised to serve the entire Narok East Sub county, ” Said Governor Ntutu.
