In Olposimoru Ward, Governor Ntutu launched the construction of 7.8km Olmariko-Tuyobei-Olposimoru road in Olmariko area and inspected the ongoing construction of Olmariko Dispensary, which will serve the residents of Olmariko, Olonamuka, Olorien, Tegat, and surrounding areas.
The construction of Olengape-Tegat Bridge has also been officially launched by the Governor. The bridge will link communities in Olposimoru, Ormariko, Kilapa, Olokurto, and the neighbouring Nakuru County.
At Ole polos, Governor Ntutu commissioned an eight-bed maternity wing, from where maternal health services will be administered to the residents of Ilikiai, Enkusero, Lolongoi, Olturkoian, and Sereria villages.
A fully equipped 8-bed, state of the art, modern maternity wing was also inaugurated by the Governor at Olposimoru Dispensary. The women of Olengape, Intamejo, Enkusero, Kikaet, Tegat, and Olepolos will no longer travel far to seek maternity services.
At Olposimoru Centre, two significant roads were commissioned; the 1.7-kilometer Olposimoru Centre–Olposimoru Dispensary Road and the 13.5-kilometer Olposimoru–Amalo–Olemesai Road. The latter serves as a key transport link between Narok and Nakuru Counties. Currently, the county government has successfully upgraded 40 kilometers of roads across Olposimoru Ward, with 20 kilometers of these improvements concentrated within Olposimoru Town.
Olposimoru saleyard has also been operationalized. The saleyard includes administration offices which will facilitate smooth operations for the traders.
The construction of Majengo-Mukuru Lenana Bridge, connecting Lenana and Majengo estates, is also ongoing.
Maintenance works on various roads in Ololongoi, Olposimoru Ward have been successfully completed. These roads include:
Olpusimoru – Amalo Road (9 km)
Shapatarakwa – Kamurar Road (9 km)
Olechonko – Olpusimoru Road (4 km)
Enkusero Junction – Olpusimoru Centre Road (7 km)
The grading and murraming works on the Shapatarakwa – Ololongoi Road are currently ongoing.
In addition, the Governor officially launched the grading and murraming of the Ololongoi – Engusero Centre Road, covering a total of 6.7 km. He also commissioned three newly constructed and fully equipped Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classrooms at Ololongoi Primary School. These classrooms will accommodate 120 children and will provide a conducive learning environment for the learners.
