Projects commissioned by Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu include:
An ECDE classrooms at Empopongi Comprehensive School, an ECDE classroom and a 12 Door-Modern washrooms at Nkama ECDE center, Eor-Emayian Borehole, Emayian ECDE Classroom, the tarmacked 2.5Km Lower Lenana loop; Katakala Water Project, a newly constructed and fully equipped ECDE classroom at Oleleshwa Comprehensive School, an administration block at Pulung’a Comprehensive School, and a dormitory at Kimelok Secondary School.
The Governor also inspected the ongoing works on the six-door modern washroom at ODM Market, the ongoing construction of the livestock sale yard at Ewuaso Ngiro market center which is nearing completion and features modern washrooms, office facilities, and designated spaces for small-scale traders to sell foodstuffs and reviewed the progress of the construction works at Oleleshwa Dispensary, which is 90% complete.
Projects commissioned over the Two-day Development Tour of Siana Ward, Narok West Sub county include:
Sekenani Gate water project, Ololchura and Loigero Comprehensive Primary Schools water projects, Enoombuai water project, Keekorok water project, the Mara Simba Bridge and Ranger’s houses.
The Mara Simba Bridge had been swept away by the Elnino rains last year. It is a very vital bridge that connects Sekenani and Talek across the Mara River.
15 rangers houses at the Mara Reserve Rangers Station, six renovated ranger houses at the Sandriver Gate Ranger Station, four houses which will serve as beading stations for the local women who are relying on beadwork as their source of income and ten rangers houses at Keekorok rangers station.
The Governor also presided over the launch of the Maasai Mara National Reserve (MMNR) Conservation Center at Keekorok where MMNR website, logo, and a new annual MMNR magazine were unveiled.
The official launch of stickers for all tour guides. This initiative has been fully funded by the County Government. The Governor presented 200 stickers to the guides, each valid for one year. The annual renewal fees for the stickers is Kshs 10,000.
Several projects in Ilkerin ward have been officially opened for operations over the three days of Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu’s development tour of the ward. They include:
Two ECDE classrooms and washrooms at Lelach Primary School which are now ready to serve the young learners from Kimugul, Chilani, Kapkwen, Chebulu and Ainamoi villages.
The newly graded and murrumed 2.5 Kilometers of road,across Ilkerin town, will go along way in easing movement across the town and alleviating the numerous challenges that bad road network had placed on businesses around the town.
Chepkeigei and Saunosiek ECDE compliant classrooms. These classrooms have a capacity to accommodate 35 pupils each and are a welcome improvement from the semi permanent structures that have for a long time served as a classroom.

Governor Ntutu also conducted an assessment of the recently completed Chilani-Moromisa-Asur road.
The newly constructed Chepkisa Footbridge. The construction and commissioning of the Chepkisa Footbridge over Chepkisa River addresses the long-standing mobility challenges that the residents of Chepkisa Village have faced due to the lack of a safe crossing point. This footbridge now provides a vital link across the village, enabling safe movement of people, goods, and services throughout all seasons.
Inspection of Kamaget Dispensary, located in Kamaget Village, Ilkerin Ward. Kamaget Dispensary is an established government health facility initially constructed by a Non-Governmental Organization and serves a broad catchment area, encompassing Kamaget, Kilindani, Chepkisa, Kigonor, Torokwet, and Chebaibai villages.
Kiptenden Siria Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) Centre and two ECDE classrooms at Murkan Comprehensive School.
Laying of the foundation stone for the upcoming Murkan Maternity Wing and launching of the construction of the Murkan Livestock Saleyard.
A new Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classroom at St. Paul’s Comprehensive School in Kitait village. This facility accommodates approximately 40 young learners from Kitait, Lelochonik, Kamasheton, and Araret villages and addresses a longstanding need for accessible learning institutions within the community.
Commissioning of two newly completed classrooms. These classrooms are ready to serve pre-primary students from the neighboring areas of Chang’ina, Chemamit, Lelechonik, Tumda, and Kaptala.
Two fully furnished Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classrooms at Kaptala Primary School. These classrooms will provide a safe and conducive learning environment for approximately 80 young learners, adding to the current student population of 200 at Kaptala Primary School.
A modern, fully equipped, ECDE-compliant classroom at Kapsimotwo Primary School. This new facility replaces the temporary structure that had long served as the school’s ECDE classroom, marking a significant infrastructural milestone.
An ECDE classroom at Chesogori Primary School. Chesogori Primary School, though relatively new, provides essential education to learners from the villages of Korido, Kaptololo, and Changina.
Inspection of the ongoing upgrade of Emurua Dikirr Level Four Hospital. The County Government has upgraded this facility from a Health Centre to a Level Four Hospital through an official Gazette Notice published in the Kenya Gazette, commenced the construction of an Outpatient Department (OPD), which is now nearing completion, and has installed a three-phase power supply along with a backup generator to ensure reliable electricity.
Several projects have been commissioned and inspected in Kapsasian ward by Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu as part of the ongoing development tour of Emurua Dikirr Sub county. The projects include:
Commissioning of two classrooms at Chebulu Comprehensive School. These two classrooms have been built by the County Government of Narok, fulfilling the requests of parents made during a public participation event in the previous financial year.
Inspection of Chebulu Dispensary, which is nearing completion. Once fully operational, the facility will significantly enhance access to medical services for residents of Chebulu, Ainamoi, Korosiot, and the surrounding communities.
Commissioning of an ECDE classroom at Naisukut Primary School and the launch of the construction of the Naisukut Bridge.The bridge will link Naisukut and Kiribwet villages, extending further to Emarti in Kilgoris Constituency.
Commissioning of Soymingin Dispensary, a crucial initiative that will enhance healthcare access for the local community.
Commissioning of a fully equipped ECDE classroom at Basiryat, addressing the critical need for proper learning facilities in the area.
Commissioning of Nylon Water Pan in Kabolecho, which will serve Kabolecho community and the neighbouring villages.
Commissioning of the 3.5 km Chebaraa-Koibeyiot road, which will greatly benefit the Koibeyiot community and school-going children. The road also connects Kabolecho and Koibeyiot, significantly improving access between the two areas.

Commissioning of a newly constructed cattle dip at Lelechwet, which will serve the residents of Abosi, Kabuson, Kelonget, and Ndamama.
Launch of the construction of a footbridge connecting Olmelil Market to Siriat Primary School. This new bridge will significantly improve access for schoolchildren ensuring safe and easy crossing of the river.
Commissioning of Whitehouse ECDE Centre in Sikowet Village. This project addresses the urgent need for an ECDE classroom in the area, providing a critical learning space for young children.
Commissioning of a new Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) center at Meregito. This ECDE center will cater to young learners from the communities of Kimukul, Mukenyi, Nagwenyi, and the Nkorika border.
Inauguration of the Chepkumiat borehole water project, which now supplies clean water to Kisiara Primary and Secondary Schools, Meregito Primary School, and the Chepkumiat community. The establishment of a designated water collection point along the border has played a pivotal role in easing tensions and resolving conflicts between the Kipsigis and Maasai communities, promoting harmony. The county government has also installed water troughs at Chepkumiat to ensure that livestock have a dedicated watering point, benefiting the local pastoralists and their herds.
Commissioning of a newly completed maternity wing at Njipiship. This facility will significantly benefit mothers from Njipiship, Ndamama, Oronkai, Kabuson, Mukenyi, and surrounding areas by providing a safe place for childbirth, thereby contributing to the reduction of child mortality rates.
In Takitech village, Governor Ntutu commissioned a fully equipped maternity wing at Chemalinket Takitech dispensary.
Commissioning of Sinendet ECDE classroom with a capacity of 40 learners and will serve learners from Kamerumeru, Chesonoi, and Kimananga areas.
At Kamermeru secondary, the Governor commissioned a water project at the school.This water was piped from Chesonoi spring, at the foot of Abossi hills. The county government is planning to distribute water to Kimanga, Kamermeru, Simotwet, Chesoen and other villages in Ololmasani ward.
A fully furnished Kondamet ECDE classroom has now joined the list of early learning facilities that Governor Ntutu has officially opened for operations across the county. The young learners of Kondamet area who oftenly missed school, as a result of the long distance from Kondamet to Kapchumbe Primary School are now guaranteed of uninterrupted learning at a facility that is closer home.
Also commissioned was Kapweria Maternity wing which is fully equipped and ready to serve expectant mothers who initially had to travel to as far as the neighbouring Bomet County seeking maternal services.
